Glories Upon Glories

Glories upon glories and praise upon praise

Song of our souls and tears of our eyes

Hearts that won’t cease from joy that is real

For a Savior was sent, our souls for to heal

A glorious thing has been heard all around

For angels do cry and their trumpets do sound

He lived and He died the Son of our God

Our pain He has known, for our sin He has bled

But holy is God who has raised Him again

To stand at His right hand and heaven command

Now all of God’s children will rise from the grave

For our Savior has power to heal and to save

If we trust in our God and believe in His Son

If from truth we don’t hide and from light we don’t run

Then glories upon glories and joy upon joy

Will be our reward, peace ours to enjoy
